Those “why nots” are always the gateway to the best stories.
As you know, we’ve had similar journeys, and mine is full of “why nots” as well .. maybe a few too many, haha. But I don’t regret it.
At the beginning, it’s that sense of vertigo that pulls you in. Then it becomes about the journey—and making sure you actually enjoy it. That’s harder than it sounds, and easy to forget. Before you know it, it’s over, and you’ve reached the milestone, closed the chapter, or finished that phase.
My view on this right now (and my perception might have changed over the years): don’t get too hung up on what you do. It might not matter as much as you think—but do it with courage and a smile. When you look back, you’ll be proud of how you pushed through it, even if the outcome wasn’t what you expected.
Thanks for the reference, mate—glad it helped 😊
