Happy New Year!
2024 is kicking off and with it, I want to share with you the new initiatives I want to put in place this year for The Optimist Engineer.
But first things first
I want to thank you all! Thank you for your support during 2023! My expectations have been absolutely exceeded in this newsletter and, because of this, I found the motivation for going one step forward.
So, for the coming year, I plan the following:
🎙️Add a Podcast. (One more, why not!) I plan to release, from time to time, newsletter issues in the form of podcast episodes. I intend to follow the same pattern as the newsletter but in a voice format. Also, I want to conduct some interviews with people who are represented by this newsletter, like Software Engineers, Tech Leads, and so on, so we can learn from their experiences too. You can expect short audio segments, around 15 or 20 minutes, which won't require your full attention. Instead, you can listen to them while you're in the Metro, train, car... or even while ironing! Yeah, the first episode was released already!
📼Video Podcast. For those who are used to having all on YouTube, I will start a YouTube channel on which I will upload the Podcast episodes, and other surprises too.
🪵Sharable resources. On a daily basis, I have my resources, like templates, tools, and so on. I plan to start sharing those with you to help you daily as well.
✍🏽Cross-writing newsletter. I want to bring, on some occasions, some special guests that will help me to write newsletter issues, so you can get profit from more points of view framed on this newsletter.
And other surprises that will come for sure.
I would love to hear your feedback about this roadmap-no-roadmap! Write down a comment or reply to this email!
Best wishes,
Marcos.
Like it a lot!
Looks like you have a plan!!
